WHAT IS "NET NEUTRALITY"

Net Neutrality means that network should be neutrality for every network users and applications. This topic is argued in many countries today. This problem has emerged in 2005, America because some people suspected the possibility that Internet provider makes differences whether people pay for additional fees or not. Elements that threat Net Neutrality are exclusive dealing, double dipping, and quality of service. Some companies such as Google and Yahoo, which offer a lot of Internet services to us, tried to make a rule to save Net Neutrality. They think Internet is based on the idea of the equality of utilization and Internet providers should not prevent it. Then, Google and Microsoft have attempted to defend the freedom of Internet.

In Japan, the general affairs ministry established the workshop of Net Neutrality, and they are discussing about it.
